YEARS of DENTAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Taheri graduated from Western University of health and science College of Dentistry and started her adult education in Kansas University exploring the field of Engineering. As a successful engineer working for big companies such as Nortel and Aspen Technology, she continued her education by getting her MBA from MIT. In the path of changing carrier to healthcare, Dr. Taheri received her Dental Hygiene degree from NYU. Working as a caring and passionate hygienist for two years she fell in love with all aspects of the dental field and was encouraged to continue her education and become a dentist.
Dr. Taheri excels in all phases of dentistry, but her personal favorite is the cosmetic branch. This allows her to see how deeply dentistry can affect a person’s self-confidence, outlook on life and even relationships. In fact, her favorite quote is: “A smile is a curve that sets everything straight” – (Phyllis Diller). After years of education and experience, Dr. Taheri decided to dedicate her talent, passion and care to the warm and loving people of Southern California.
It’s here that Dr. Taheri met the love of her life and established a home. Along her husband Shervin and their baby girl they love to spend time in the warm California outdoors, playing with their pug JoJo. They share much of their free time with family and friends whether for a meal or simply to play a game of cards.
Nadia’s wish is to establish a flourishing practice where the relationship between her and her patients will grow strong thru the years. Dr. Taheri is proudly showcasing all her capabilities in modern dentistry at Hollywood Smiles Dental where she and her team are excited to treat the office’s existing and new patients.

Serina Ortega
Serina completed her extended functions program and state license at UCLA.
With over 15 years of dental experience in endodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics Serina is the backbone of our office.
Serina continues to be at the top of her field by constantly continuing her education in implantology and cosmetic restorative dentistry ensuring patients receive optimal dental care.
In her role, Serina greatly increases the proficiency of our dentist in the delivery of quality oral health care and technical insight.
Serina does not forget a face and is always in tune with patients, their questions, concerns and dental phobias. She looks forward to meeting you and improving your smile.
Nia Torres
Jannia, known to all of as Nia, has been part of the team since May 2018.
She is the first to pick up the phone and the first person you will meet when you visit our office.
Nia has an extensive background in customer service and marketing, which made the transition to a dental career an easy choice.
Nia is focused on patient care and education and would absolutely loves to assist you with scheduling appointments and to make you feel welcome and at ease.
Daniele Capone
As a transformational executive with foresight and imagination Daniele has an impressive history of surpassing ambitious business goals and delivering operational innovations to dental practices.
He has a consistent record of positioning organizations for success, spurring growth, and building highly accomplished teams that demonstrate a profound dedication to patient care and operational excellence.
For the past 16 years Daniele’s business acumen has been sharpened in dental organizations of the Albany and Hudson Valley regions of NY State. He has now made his home here at Hollywood Smile where his focus will be to strengthen and grow the office ideals of patient care, oral health and operational excellence.
